Early Years Foundation Stage

Early Years at Newton Leys Primary School encompasses both our Nursery and Reception classes. We have a 39 place Nursery and our Reception is made up of three class that can accommodate 30 children per class.

We are very proud to offer an Early Years setting that provides our children with a nurturing environment that develops confidence, builds resilience and lays strong foundations for future learning. We offer a broad and balanced curriculum that spans across our indoor and outdoor areas, engaging our children in a world of play and fostering a love of learning.

We set high expectations to encourage our children to achieve to the best of their ability. We take time to celebrate success regardless of how big or small this may be. We promote positivity whilst we also recognise that making mistakes along the way is healthy, normal and is part of how we become better.
