At Newton Leys Primary School, our gates open at 8:20am. Children in Nursery go in to school, and leave, through the Nursery door at the front of the school. Children in Years R -6 enter through the gates at the front of the school onto the astroturf and the walkway next to this. 

Registration begins at 8:30 and the gates close at 8:35. If children arrive after the gates have closed, they need to enter through the school office. 

The school day finishes at 3pm. There are a variety of clubs available after this point for children to attend and Wraparound care which is open until 6pm. For more information on Wraparound care, please click on the Wraparound Care and Holiday Club link.

Our school day runs for 6.5 hours which over the week, means that the children are in school for 32.5 hours.
